BingX and YouHodler Join ESMA's MiCA Register as CASP Count Hits 375
ESMA's latest MiCA register update adds nine CASPs including BingX, YouHodler and Santander's Openbank, bringing the total to 375 as the non-compliant list hits 178.

Outputs
ESMA's Friday MiCA register update added nine CASPs, bringing the total to 375 unique providers.
BingX joined via Austrian entity MEGE zweite; YouHodler via its Italian subsidiary.
Germany's additions included Banco Santander's Openbank Deutschland and two cooperative VR banks.
The NCASPs register of non-compliant providers grew by five entries to 178.
Denmark's Penning Financial Services was delisted after appearing in updates since July 3.
Europe's MiCA register now lists 375 unique crypto-asset service providers, after the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) added nine CASPs in its Friday update. The new entries include exchange BingX, lending platform YouHodler and Banco Santander's Openbank Deutschland.
The additions mark another step in the European Union's phased rollout of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, the bloc's unified licensing regime for crypto firms. They also come with a counterweight: the register of non-compliant crypto-asset service providers (NCASPs) grew by five entries to 178.
Who made the list?
BingX entered through its Austrian entity, MEGE zweite. The Singapore-headquartered exchange had announced its authorization last week. BingX EU CEO Daniel Lai said the approval would allow the company to operate under a clear regulatory framework as it prepares to launch regulated services across the European Economic Area.
YouHodler, a crypto lending platform offering yield products, joined via its Italian subsidiary. Its authorization covers custody, crypto exchanges, order execution and transfers.
Spain contributed Prakma Markets, associated with the Goin crypto app, which runs a savings and investment platform. Germany added three entries:
- Openbank Deutschland, a subsidiary of Spanish banking group Banco Santander
- VR-Bank Alb-Blau-Donau, a cooperative lender
- VR Bank im südlichen Franken, another cooperative lender
One name went the other way. Denmark's Penning Financial Services is no longer listed, despite appearing in register updates dating back to July 3. ESMA did not state a reason in the update itself.
What does this change for firms operating in the EU?
For crypto firms, MiCA authorization is now the gate to passporting services across the 30-country European Economic Area. A single license, granted by one national regulator, opens the entire bloc. That is the operational prize BingX and YouHodler are positioning for.
The token side of the register tells a quieter story. The e-money token (EMT) register was unchanged at 50 entries, representing 25 unique entities. The asset-referenced token (ART) register remains empty, meaning no issuer has yet cleared that bar.
Traditional finance keeps edging in. Santander's Openbank Deutschland joining the same register as crypto-native exchanges signals that incumbent banks see the EU licensing regime as workable infrastructure rather than a compliance trap.
The parallel growth of the NCASPs list, now at 178 entries, shows regulators are building the enforcement side of the regime at the same pace as the licensing side. Firms operating in Europe without authorization face a shrinking window before national authorities act on that list.
Further register updates from ESMA are expected on a rolling basis as national competent authorities continue processing MiCA applications through the transition period.
