Securitize launches tokenized U.S. stocks on Solana, backed 1:1 by shares

Securitize debuted 1:1-backed tokenized U.S. equities on Solana, opening with Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia and other large-caps as onchain stock tokens crossed $3 billion in total value.

Outputs

  1. Securitize launched 1:1-backed tokenized U.S. equities on Solana starting with Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta and Amazon.

  2. Tokenized stocks surpassed $3 billion in onchain value at the time of the launch.

  3. Settlement runs in USDC on Solana, initially during extended U.S. market hours with 24/7 trading planned.

  4. Jump Crypto and Jupiter were engaged earlier to provide liquidity and distribution access.

  5. Securitize was the first company to list shares both onchain (Solana, Avalanche) and on the NYSE via its SECZ listing.

Securitize launched tokenized U.S. equities on Solana, opening its roster of 1:1-backed digital representations of public stocks with Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta and Amazon. Circle and Strategy are expected to join the lineup, according to the company.

The launch comes as tokenized stocks have surpassed $3 billion in onchain value, with Securitize accounting for much of the recent capital growth. Each token is backed 1:1 by underlying shares held through Securitize Markets' regulated brokerage infrastructure, called the Convertible Entitlement Token, or CET.

What does the CET structure deliver to holders?

CET positions carry the same economic entitlements as the conventional shares they mirror: dividends, shareholder rights and corporate-action benefits flow through to onchain holders. Securitize framed the structure as a transitional bridge rather than a permanent wrapper.

"CETs are also designed to provide a bridge between today's securities markets and Securitize's long-term vision for issuer-sponsored tokenization: if an issuer subsequently adopts an issuer-sponsored tokenized share structure with Securitize, CET positions can transition into that model," the firm said in a statement.

Who is included in the initial cohort?

Seven large-cap technology issuers form the launch set: Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta and Amazon. Securitize said the offering is also expected to expand to SpaceX, Palantir, Circle and Strategy. The roster spans both public technology bellwethers and private or recently listed names with significant crypto-market followings.

How does trading and settlement work?

Settlement runs in Circle's USDC stablecoin on Solana. The offering initially supports extended U.S. market hours, with Securitize planning to expand toward 24/7 trading. CEO Carlos Domingo positioned the product around replicating the underlying ownership experience rather than synthetic exposure.

"Tokenized stocks should give investors more than a price that happens to track a stock," Domingo said in a statement. "Our goal is to bring the actual ownership experience onchain — with the underlying shares, shareholder rights, regulated market infrastructure and the ability to move toward an issuer-sponsored model as companies embrace tokenization themselves."

Who is providing liquidity?

Securitize previously engaged Jump Crypto and Jupiter to provide liquidity and distribution access for the stock tokenization effort. The arrangement signals a continuation of the firm's strategy of pairing regulated brokerage plumbing with crypto-native market makers.

Where does this sit in the firm's broader roadmap?

Securitize became the first company to list shares both onchain and on the NYSE, debuting its own SECZ shares on Solana and Avalanche. President Brett Redfearn told The Block at the time that Securitize was in talks with major investment banks about bringing other IPOs onchain.

The CET launch generalizes that hybrid model to third-party issuers. The next operational milestone is the rollout of 24/7 trading on the existing Solana-based tokens, followed by the addition of the remaining named issuers including Circle and Strategy.
