Enso Wires xStocks Into Arbitrum Through API Integration
Enso has integrated tokenized equity product xStocks with Arbitrum, letting wallets and trading platforms already on Enso's API route the assets without new infrastructure, the team said Wednesday.

Enso integrated xStocks with Arbitrum, with the announcement made on Wednesday.
xStocks are accessible through the Enso API and directly tradable via the Enso RWA App for eligible accounts.
Enso has raised about $14.2 million since its 2021 founding, with backing from Polychain Capital, Multicoin Capital, Spartan Group, IDEO CoLab Ventures and Hypersphere.
Enso's existing RWA work spans ether.fi Cash execution, an approved minting role for Ondo Finance and infrastructure behind Anchorage Digital's Porto institutional terminal.
The deployment lets Enso-connected applications add tokenized equity access without building separate routing or aggregation systems.
Enso has wired tokenized equity product xStocks into Arbitrum, letting wallets, fintechs and trading platforms already on Enso's API add tokenized stock access without building new routing or aggregation infrastructure, the team said Wednesday.
The integration makes xStocks available through the Enso API and lets eligible users trade tokenized equities directly through the Enso RWA App. Enso framed the move as filling a gap between tokenized asset issuance and the applications that distribute them.
What does the integration enable?
Applications already connected to Enso can now route trades in xStocks on Arbitrum using the same connection they use for swaps, cross-chain routing and DeFi actions. Developers do not need to deploy separate routing or aggregation systems for the asset class, removing the per-integration engineering cost that has slowed RWA adoption among wallets and broker-dealer-adjacent platforms.
"Tokenization solved the supply side of real-world assets but what's been missing is distribution, the liquidity, routing and execution to get those assets into the wallets and apps where people actually transact," Connor Howe, co-founder and CEO of Enso, said. He added that the launch lets existing Enso customers add tokenized equity access without developing separate infrastructure.
How does Arbitrum frame the deal?
Arbitrum has positioned real-world assets as a priority vertical, and the Enso partnership extends that push by adding a tokenized stock product into its DeFi ecosystem without requiring Arbitrum to onboard the issuer directly.
"Real-world assets are one of the fastest-growing categories on Arbitrum, and execution infrastructure is what turns that growth into something builders can actually ship," Peter Haymond, head of DeFi partnerships at Arbitrum, said. "Enso bringing xStocks to Arbitrum means any wallet, fintech or trading platform in our ecosystem gets tokenized equity access without building that infrastructure themselves. That's the kind of composability that keeps compounding as more real-world assets move onchain."
Who backs the company?
Enso has raised approximately $14.2 million since its 2021 founding. Backers include:
- Polychain Capital
- Multicoin Capital
- Spartan Group
- IDEO CoLab Ventures
- Hypersphere
What is Enso's broader RWA footprint?
The Arbitrum launch extends an existing real-world asset business that already spans tokenized stock and metals execution through ether.fi Cash, an approved minting role for Ondo Finance and infrastructure supporting Anchorage Digital's Porto institutional terminal.
Enso, founded in 2021, operates an execution layer for onchain finance that lets applications, protocols and institutions access liquidity and execute multi-step transactions across DeFi and tokenized assets through a single API.
What does this change for tokenized equities?
The integration reframes the distribution problem for tokenized stocks. Wallets, neobrokers and trading platforms that previously had to build execution rails for each new RWA product can now add xStocks as a configuration change on a connection they already operate, shifting the integration burden from the application layer to the execution layer.
That redistribution raises a near-term question for issuers: whether competing RWA providers will compete on token structure and underlying exposure, or instead route through shared execution layers such as Enso's to reduce the per-wallet integration cost. The next operational milestone to watch is the depth of liquidity xStocks attracts through Enso's existing Arbitrum-connected venue base.
